Under section 4 of the College Education Regulations, for the Attestation of College Studies, a person who has training deemed equivalent by the College and who meets one of the conditions set out below:
The program focuses on the specific training skills of the Diploma of College Studies in Accounting and Management Techniques related to accounting and financial management using appropriate software. Skills related to administrative management (staff management, business start-up, etc.) have been excluded from the program in favor of knowledge of computerized accounting and financial management.
It aims to give the student (you) a global vision of the accounting and financial cycle in order to be able, using computer tools which are the norm today, to support the manager or the accountant in his work in him submitting reliable accounting and financial information. He will know the standards for payroll processing.
The program has a more practical component from session 2, thus making it possible to establish the basic theoretical aspects at the beginning and gradually put the student (you) in a work situation and perfect his application and the integration of learnings.
The aspects of rigor and work ethic, crucial in this employment sector, will be taught and evaluated in the various courses.
The Computerized Accounting and Financial Management Program is designed to train students to become qualified accounting and financial management technicians.
This occupation corresponds to the National Occupational Classification of NOC-1311 Accounting technicians and bookkeepers.
